How it works

Small sunnah, every day

No courses to finish and no streaks to protect. Just a few gentle Habits, woven around the day you already have.

  1. Your Path, by age

Add your child (or your due date). Rahmly finds their Stage on the Path and builds their Plan for your Setting and Heritage.

  2. Habits around salah

Each day, a handful of sunnah Habits sit around the prayer times: a dua after Fajr, Bismillah at lunch, the three Quls at bedtime.

  3. Their garden grows

Hand the phone to your child. They check in the Habits they did, and their garden grows a leaf. It never wilts.

The Path

From the first kick to the first car keys

One Path in seven Stages. Each Stage brings the Habits, Lessons and Milestones that matter at that age, and nothing that doesn’t.

  1. Pregnancy & newborn

Duas for the wait, the adhan in the ear, tahnik, aqiqah and a good name.

Today

One calm screen for the whole day

Your child’s Habits for today, grouped around the prayers: after Fajr, daytime, after Maghrib, bedtime. One tap for a Check-in. One short Lesson for you. The next Milestone, gently, in its own time.

  • Habits sit around salah times, so they fit real days
  • A missed day is just “tomorrow is a new day”. No streaks, no red crosses
  • Switch between children with one tap
Rahmly Today screen: next prayer Asr in 1 hour 12 minutes, prayer times strip, and Maryam’s Habits grouped by After Fajr and Daytime with Check-in circles
Your Plan

The Path, shaped for your child

Rahmly follows one Path from pregnancy to 18, in seven Stages. Your child’s Plan is their slice of it: the Habits, Lessons and Milestones that fit their age and your family right now.

  • See where your child is on the Path and what comes next
  • Revisit earlier Stages anytime
  • Habits to practise, Lessons to read once, Milestones to prepare for

Evidence, always

Every sunnah shows its source

Each Habit opens with what it is, why it matters, and the Evidence behind it: the Qur’an verse or hadith, with its reference and authenticity grade. Advice without a direct text is labelled Parenting Wisdom, so it is never mistaken for sunnah.

  • Hadith references with their grade, e.g. Sahih al-Bukhari 5376 · Sahih
  • How the Habit looks at your child’s exact age
  • A soft monthly calendar of Check-ins, never a “missed” mark
Evidence · Hadith“Young man, mention the name of Allah, eat with your right hand, and eat from what is in front of you.” Sahih al-Bukhari 5376 · Sahih
Rahmly Habit detail: Bismillah before eating, Checked in today, and an Evidence card quoting the hadith with the reference Sahih al-Bukhari 5376, Sahih
Child Mode

Hand them the phone. Their garden grows.

Child Mode is a quiet world for one child, aged 4 to 12. They tap the Habits they did today, and a leaf or a flower grows in their garden. It never shrinks or wilts. No points, no leaderboards, no comparing siblings.

  • Big picture cards for ages 4–6, short words from 7
  • No purchases, links or settings inside
  • A grown-up gate to leave: hold, then solve a sum

Duas

Learn duas together, word by word

Each dua is shown as live Arabic text, a transliteration and a meaning your child can hold on to. “Say it with me” highlights the words as you go. Dua text comes from Hisn al-Muslim with its reference, never generated.

  • Duas for your child’s Stage: eating, sleeping, leaving home
  • Human voice recordings only in Child Mode
  • No recording yet? It says “Ask your parent to read it with you”
Dua player: Before sleeping, with the Arabic text, the transliteration Bismika Allahumma amutu wa ahya and its meaning, and a play button
Prayer times

Prayer times, worked out on your phone

Rahmly calculates prayer times on the device from your location or your city, with the right method picked for you and Standard or Hanafi Asr. The next prayer sits at the top of Today, and your child’s Habits follow it.

  • Works offline, no prayer-time server
  • Editable calculation method and Asr
  • Adhan notifications are off unless you turn them on

Made for your family

Same sunnah. Your family’s life.

Raising a Muslim child in Manchester is not the same as in Lahore. Rahmly adapts its guidance to where you live and where you come from, and never changes a ruling to do it.

Your Setting

Whether you live in a Muslim-majority or Muslim-minority country changes the advice itself: school, festivals, praying in public, Fajr in a northern summer.

Muslim-minority“In northern countries Fajr can be very early in summer. Winter is a gentle season to start.”
Muslim-majority“If the adhan is heard from the mosque, let it be the wake-up.”

Your Heritage

Your family’s background changes the framing and the examples: the words you use at home, the foods at the table, the way Eid is celebrated. Never the rulings.

Questions

Good questions, honest answers

Do I need to create an account?

No. There is no sign-up, no email and no password. You open Rahmly, add your child, and start.

Where is my family’s data stored?

On your phone. On iPhone and iPad it also syncs through your own private iCloud, so two devices on your Apple ID stay in step and a new phone restores itself. We run no servers that hold your data, so we never see it.

Is there an Android version?

Yes. Rahmly launches on iPhone and Android together. On Android your data stays on the phone, and you can move it with an encrypted backup file you control.

Which madhhab does Rahmly follow?

Rahmly is Sunni and madhhab-neutral. Where schools differ in a way that matters for a family (for example, the Asr time), the app lets you choose. For anything personal, we always point you to a scholar you trust.

Who checks the content?

Every Habit, Lesson and Milestone is reviewed by a scholar and a child-development professional before it ships in the app. Dua text and Evidence come from authenticated sources like Hisn al-Muslim, with references and grades. No religious text is AI-generated.

What ages is it for?

From pregnancy to 18. At launch Rahmly covers Pregnancy & Newborn through ages 7–9. Content for 10–18 arrives in free updates between March and June 2027, included in your purchase.

Is Child Mode safe for my child?

Child Mode has no purchases, no links, no ads, no chat and no settings. Leaving it needs a grown-up gate. Teenagers get no Child Mode at all: at that age it would feel like surveillance, so Rahmly helps you instead.

How much does it cost?

Setting up your family's Plan is free. Then it is $19 a year, starting with a 7-day free trial, or $49 once for lifetime access. Family Sharing is included, and prices are adjusted for some countries. Cancel the trial any time before it ends in your App Store or Google Play settings and you won't be charged.
