Raising children with rifq
Rifq means gentleness. The Prophet ﷺ said that Allah is gentle and loves gentleness in all matters. Rahmly is our attempt to put that into a parent’s day.
Our mission
To help Muslim parents raise children who love Allah and carry the sunnah with confidence, in whatever country and culture they live, without guilt, ads or accounts.
Most parents don’t need more information. They need the right next step for their child, today, from a source they can trust. That’s what Rahmly’s Path, Plan and daily Habits are for.
How we handle religious content
- Sourced, never generated. Dua and Qur’an text comes from authenticated compilations such as Hisn al-Muslim, with the hadith reference and its grade. No religious text is AI-generated.
- Evidence and Parenting Wisdom are labelled. Guidance with a Qur’an verse or hadith shows it. Guidance without one is marked “Wisdom, not scripture”.
- Sunni and madhhab-neutral. Where schools differ in practice, we say so and let families choose. Personal rulings belong with a scholar you trust.
- Arabic stays live text. Never baked into images, so it can always be checked and corrected.
- Respect in every illustration. No depictions of the Prophet ﷺ, any prophet or companion, and no faces on people.
Who reviews the content
Every Habit, Lesson and Milestone in the app is reviewed by two Reviewers before it ships:
- A scholar (or senior student of knowledge, Sunni and madhhab-neutral), who checks every piece of Evidence, its grade and how it is applied.
- A child-development professional (a counsellor, psychologist or experienced teacher), who checks that the advice is right for the child’s age and never shames.
We’ll introduce our Reviewers here, with their permission, before launch. Guides on this website show a “Reviewed” line only once they have been signed off.
Who we are
Rahmly is a small, independent project, built by a Muslim parent with paid help from Reviewers. It is funded by the people who buy it, not by advertisers or investors, which is why it can stay calm, private and free of ads.
